Born in Towson, MD, I grew up in the suburbs next to Baltimore. I developed an interest in photography as a child before exploring the art and the darkroom in high school. Upon enrolling at University of Maryland, I began shooting news and sports for The Diamondback, the University's primary independent student newspaper.
After my first year, I moved up to Sports Photo Editor, and spent the next three years following the Terps sports teams around the country to cover Division 1 regular season contests, bowl games, and NCAA tournaments including March Madness, the College Cup, & Men's and Women's lacrosse. I served as the staff photographer for the undergraduate department at the Smith School of Business while freelancing for the UMD Athletic Department, academic departments & student groups on campus.
Post-Grad: I am a Live Content Creator for the National Football League and Major League Baseball in the Baltimore Area. I have a partnership with 1Big Idea advertising agency working with commercial clients based in and around Baltimore, Washington D.C., & Northern Virginia. I also freelance for Inside Lacrosse Magazine shooting NCAA games, recruiting tournaments, and academies. I shoot headshots, events, and environmental portraits as well.
